Alice is an alt of Aile, main character of the game Megaman ZX. She’s from a heavily AU timeline, and much more of her backstory is based on the events of not_rockman’s life than actual canon.
She’s a cyborg with a couple of illegal mods. Major points are A) She doesn’t age, B) She doesn’t get drunk, and C) She does not, strictly speaking, need to breathe. EMP’s disable all of these, and her ability to do anything besides wobble slowly around to go get repaired, but they don’t kill her.
Outside of armor, she’s capable of surviving individual bullets and explosions, but they still do major damage. She’s got better reflexes and is stronger than normal humans, though running speed is about the same. Combined with basic martial arts training, she can defend herself against attacks unarmed, but not nearly

Alice is codependent and relies intensely on her ‘family,’ her major support network. She tends to be very touchy-feely, latching on to people at a whim and reaching levels near or passing obsession with some of her friends. As a consequence, she’s very loyal and very willing to offer support, sometimes to the point of annoyance. Alice worships loyalty above all else – she concentrates solely on people, seeking the approval of those she likes and the enmity of those she hates. Due to the events of her past, she has a severe dislike of anything resembling a traditional police force or bureaucracy. Her tendency to break small time laws on principle is largely irrelevant in the Nexus, a fact she’s well aware of and perfectly willing to use.

Once psychic/telepathic contact is made, Alice can make it permanent by creating a mental link. When both linked people are in the same world, the link can send thoughts, images, and impressions – the equivalent of mental whispering. With the two people in different worlds, the link will only tell whether or not the person is still alive. It can be tricked if their mental functions stop/by telepathic jamming/etc. She relies heavily on these for knowledge that people are secure, though mostly she only has them with Megan, the Livemetals, and a few close friends.
Those who don’t want the link for whatever are offered a ring which is a two-way interdimensional communication and tracking device – same principle, easier to lose.

The Livemetals are the imprisoned souls of ancient warriors, which Alice can use to transform into different forms. Each Livemetal can move and talk when not being used to transform with. When Alice uses them, she takes on their armor as well as a few mental and physical characteristics. The more she uses them, the closer they come to being revived –- Model PX, the one she favors most, actually considers itself a third, independent personality from either Alice or Megan, the others haven’t reached that point.
Alice can use five basic transformations. Each provides armor and boost capabilities, as well as a charge shot with custom functions depending on the model: ZX (Zero) is the balanced mode, offensive and defensive capablities with both a buster and Saber. HX (Harpuia) has flight capabilities and duel beam swords. PX (Phantom) can shoot rapid fire energy shurikens and is the stealth form. FX (Fafnir) allows for controlled, powerful shots. LX (Leviathan), allows for underwater movement and uses a Halberd for combat.

Alice is primarily responsible for financing the Guardians, a peacekeeping body from her world. She also owns an ice cream chain. Her skills with money are irreproachable, her morals not so much – Giro Express, her and her girlfriend’s company, transports a lot of things most others won’t, and won’t transport some things a lot of others will.
M E G A N
Megan is Alice’s major minor personality (say that ten times fast). She’s certifiably insane and thinks she’s the incarnation of the Maverick Virus, but other than that and the tendency to deliberately freak out she’s generally pretty amiable. She complies with everything Alice tells her too. Megan can switch back and forth between a comatose host body and Alice’s own body, depending on where she’s needed, though joining with Alice leaves the other body completely vulnerable. Megan can manually control subconscious functions – like growth and development, resource proportionment, breathing – though the short terms benefits of this are pretty small. When sharing a body with Alice, she can use weapons from different Livemetals simultaneously, when on her own she can transform the same as Alice. Her link with Alice is specially enhanced – each can see and hear the other can whenever they choose (this can make certain intimate moments REALLY AWKWARD).
